OUR

We’re on a mission to create millions of delighted, smiling faces... Come, let us show you how we do it!
By listening to you - the experienced cannabis connoisseur, we developed a rigorous strain selection and quality assurance process that delivers only meticulously curated products crafted to the absolute highest of standards.

MAKING THE C T

All weed is NOT created equal...
At GreenJoÿ, we evaluate cannabis flower and genetics using a comprehensive evaluation methodology.
We score each lot based on:
Look & Feel (bag appeal)
Experience
Flavour
Only those genetics that meet our rigorous quality standard make their way into our grow rooms and only those lots that score highest make their way into a GreenJoÿ jar.

THE LOOK & FEEL | Quality Considerations

BUD SIZE Let’s face it, size matters! Generally, the larger top colas of the plant contain the highest potency and terpene levels, while buds that grow lower on the plant get less light and thus, tend to be smaller and of lesser quality. High-end flower products should be pre-sorted so that only the biggies make it into the jar.
COLOUR High quality, healthy buds should exhibit vibrant shades of green, with accent hues of purple, blue and orange. Poor quality flower is generally more bland and predominantly brown/beige in colour - signs it came from an unhealthy plant.
TRICHOMES Coverage and Integrity. Quality buds should be blanketed with trichomes that shine bright like a diamond. Under magnification, the round heads of the trichomes should be intact with the majority being cloudy white and some amber in colour.
TRIM QUALITY No one likes having to "toss the salad" - A quality trim job should preserve bud structure while removing all leaves and excess stem. Extra care should be taken to maintain the integrity of trichome heads. Hand trimming remains the best technique for achieving this!
THE SMOKE & BURN A smooth smoke is said to produce a white ash when burned. This is achieved through an effective flush at the end of the grow cycle, a slow and controlled drying process followed by multi-week “cure” where moisture levels and flavours are dialed in.
EFFECTS & INTENSITY Depending on the strain's cannabinoid profile, it’s potency, terpenes and combined “entourage effect”, intensity can range from low to very high, mind you this is a very personal measure that can be influenced by user tolerance and other factors.

THE EXPERIENCE | Quality Considerations

FLAVOUR | It's all about the terps!
TERPENES are unsaturated hydrocarbons found in the essential oils of many plants, including cannabis. These compounds create characteristic aromas such as citrus, pine and lavender, as well as more potent odors like skunk, cream or funk - Check out our terp-cons for a quick visual of the most common terps!
PERCENTAGE Terpenes percentage and profile play a significant role in the overall smell, taste and experience. As a general rule of thumb, the higher the total terpene percentage the better, with ~1% considered low and ~5% very high.
Strains carry signature terp profiles, however their prevalence can be heavily influenced through specific grow, dry and cure techniques.

STRAIN STOR

CHATTERBOX

As the first drop from Geenjoy, this Sativa dominant strain is creating a lot of chit-chat as it is truly connoisseur grade. A cross between Slurricane and Margy Mints, this banger genetic produces exceptionally large, dense buds with heavy trichome coverage throughout.
The funky, lemon-gas terpene profile, very high THC content and hybrid characteristics are known to create a quick onset that starts in the head and gently flows into the whole body. Chatterbox is said to generate lazy, yet social and engaging effects.
Total Cannabinoid Range: 30 – 39%
THC Range: 24 - 33%
Terpene Range: 2.5 - 4.9%
Terpene profile: citrus, gas and funk, with notes of rosewood, pepper and hops
